Ideas for Connecting in Long-term Care Homes |
Ideas from Families for Families
Covid-19 has brought many changes to the ways we connect with our loved ones living in long-term care homes. For many of us, we are now learning to connect in new ways through video calls, phone calls and physically distanced visits. With these changes in mind, we would like to invite you to join us in thinking creatively about how we can connect in the days and months ahead.
Recently we shared a document called “Ideas for Connecting” that contained ideas and suggestions for ways to connect with your loved ones in long term care when meeting physically is not possible. These ideas came out of collaborative workshops held by the Health Design Lab and Vancouver Coastal Health and family members with loved ones in long term care.
Now, we want to hear from you!
Please fill out the form below to share with us any ideas you’ve tried, or any new ideas we can add to this growing list.
The information you share with us below, may be shared with other families as part of this project.
Your ideas will help us continue this conversation and help us all find new ways to connect with our loved ones.
