1. Global Health Conference Participation Program

The Global Health Conference Participation Program provides funding for full-time students in the MD program at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ottawa with a proven interest in global health to attend or present at a conference with a global health focus.
 

Eligibility criteria

The applicant must: 
  • Be registered as a full-time student of the MD program at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ottawa;
  • Have a proven interest in global health; and
  • Demonstrate that participation in the conference will contribute to their global health education and build on their experience. 
Value of the award
  • Up to $500 to cover conference-related expenses
