Psychological well-being of housekeeping staff
in Canada during COVID-19
(Part 1)
Hello, we invite you to participate in a study on the psychological health of housekeeping employees in Canadian hospitals.

OBJECTIVE. We want to find out how housekeeping employees are experiencing the COVID-19 pandemic. By participating in this study, you will help us: 1) Better understand the challenges you are currently experiencing and 2) Identify how your hospital can better help you and protect your health.

CONFIDENTIALITY. Your responses are anonymous and will remain confidential; and WILL NOT be shared with your employer. The results of this study will become public, but none of the results will identify who completed the questionnaires.

RESOURCES. Some of the questions may make you feel uncomfortable. If this is the case, you can: 1) Talk to your family doctor, 2) Call the Crisis Line (Crisis Services of Canada) at 833-456-4566, 3) Text WELLNESS to: 741741, 4) Visit the Government of Canada portal to find mental health resources in your community: www.ementalhealth.ca

BENEFITS. Participating in this study contributes to a greater recognition of your work during the pandemic; and will help you better understand how to help and protect yourself. Your participation is therefore important.

AVAILABILITY. This study requires you to complete a few questionnaires; one now and others in the coming weeks. Completing these questionnaires should take a maximum of 10 minutes each time.

PARTICIPATION. You consent to participate in this study  FREELY and VOLUNTARILY. You therefore have the right to withdraw from this study at any time.
