Why are We Doing this Study?
You are participating in this study so that we can learn more about how to support K-12 teachers in infusing climate education and Indigenous knowledges into their teaching practices. The information learned will be helpful in re-designing curriculum frameworks and educational resources to support environmental learning. As a teacher or educator, your input in this study is valuable.
Your Participation is Voluntary
Your participation in this study is voluntary. You have the right to refuse participation in this study. If you decide to participate, you may still choose to withdraw at any time without any negative consequences to you.
What Happens if I say “yes” I want to Participate
If you decide to participate in this study, we will give you a form with questions to answer about your learning experiences and your positive well-being. You will also be given the opportunity to provide examples from your own practice of how you conduct your own learning experiences to support environmental learning.
If you agree to participate, you will be invited to share feedback in the form of a short survey (estimated completion time of 15 minutes).
Is there Any Way This Study Can Be Bad For You?
There are no foreseen risks to you in participating in this study. Some of the questions may seem personal or sensitive. You do not need to answer any questions that you do not want to answer.
Will Being in the Study Help you in Any Way?
There are no direct benefits to you for participating in this study, however others in the future may benefit from what is learned about implementing environmental learning topics in diverse curriculums.

Your confidentiality will be respected. Information that discloses your identity will not be released to any third party.

Study Results
The main findings of the study will be used to improve learning environments at SFU and may be published in academic journals or presented at conferences.
