Step 4: Application Form

The Canadian Red Cross would like to thank you for your interest in becoming a Red Cross Training Partner!

At this stage, you will have:
1) Completed the Business Considerations Checklist.
2) Paid the application fee (please have your payment confirmation number ready to add to the designated field as it is required to submit this application).

Step 3 is to complete and submit this application form. If you have not already completed Steps 1 and 2, please visit www.redcross.ca/partner to review the application resources and process.

Please note your application may be declined by Red Cross. The application fee is non-refundable. Red Cross will only be entering into agreements with applicants supporting training growth for specific audiences or in geographies not currently well served, and applicants that demonstrate they have the resources in place to support the delivery of high-quality training (including applicants that will be offering training to internal audiences only).

After your application form is reviewed, you will receive an email outlining next steps in the application process. You will be asked to submit a business/delivery plan, and the assessment will include the following:
  • Delivery plan review
  • Credit risk assessment (some exceptions may apply)
  • Confirmation of agreement to the Training Partner Standards of Behaviour
  • An assessment of market needs in the geography for which you are applying

After this review we may have follow up questions and/or request a meeting. Upon completion of the review, a decision will be conveyed to you in writing. The application review and assessment may take up to 8 weeks to complete.

If your application is successful, you will be required to provide the following documentation before the agreement is provided for signature:
  • Copy of Criminal Reference/Vulnerable Sector Screening (If applicable)
  • Proof of insurance
Thank you again for your interest in becoming a Training Partner.
