The Kanata Declaration emerged from the January 2019 NDSF Summit, and was intended to provide a community-generated view of the key requirements, gaps, and opportunities in a national data service that meets the needs of all Canadian researchers.

The 3rd NDSF Summit is taking place Feb 5-6 2020, and we would like to get even broader community feedback on not just those gaps and opportunities, but also what you consider to be the priorities to deliver on the promise of a NDSF for all researchers. Each of the Statements in the Declaration has an associated form - all essentially the same as this one. You can submit a form for multiple Statements, or just one, that is your choice.

Once we have received feedback from the community, we will aggregate everything into a new draft Kanata Declaration 2020, which will be further refined and work-shopped at the 3rd Summit.

Feedback will be accepted until after the NDSF Summit on February 6th, 2020.
