Indigenous Students Internship Program Sign Up

The Indigenous Student Internship Program is a 4-month paid internship program; internships start in May of 2024.

Prior to the internship, it is required that you complete professional development days. These PD days will be beneficial to the success of your internship.
Preference will be given to students who do not have access to an internship or Co-op within their program. This includes the Edwards School of Business, the College of Engineering, the Department of Computer Science and the College of Education.

The University of Saskatchewan's deybwewin | taapwaywin | tapwewin policy provides a framework for the implementation of Indigenous membership/citizenship verification with documentation at the University of Saskatchewan. It is mandatory for all ISIP students to submit their verification.

In addition to completing the ISIP Sign Up Sheet, students are required to write a one-page letter as to why you want to participate in ISIP and email it to delanie.beavereye@usask.ca
In one page, please describe your intentions of joining the program.

This can include:

* Why do you want to join the Indigenous Student Internship Program
* What do you feel are your career goals at this time?
* In what ways do you feel this could help advance your future aspirations in terms of your career?
