The Dr Dennis Shute Memorial Award is offered annually to a WCVM Graduate Student, intern or non-faculty resident with a demonstrated interest in Small Animal medicine, especially dogs and cats. The recipient must have written an article acceptable for publication. The WCVM Awards Committee will make the final selection.

This award is valued at $1000.

Eligibility:

1. Graduate students must be entering or registered in a WCVM graduate program with a WCVM faculty member (not adjunct) as their primary supervisor.

2. Student must be in good standing within their program and with the College of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies.

3. Students must have written a case report that was accepted for publication.
