We are delighted to announce the Global Showcase, one of the most celebrated events at Royal Roads University! Previously known as the International Showcase, this year’s event reflects a renewed commitment to inclusivity by embracing a name that better represents all students — international, domestic, and Indigenous—who have always been part of this celebration of culture, heritage, and talent. Additionally, online students will have opportunities to participate, ensuring that everyone can share their stories and traditions, no matter where they are.

Talent Show: Are you passionate about sharing your culture and inspiring others through performance? Whether you sing, dance, play an instrument, recite poetry, practice martial arts, or showcase another unique talent, this is your opportunity to take the stage. Participate as an individual or with a group.

Cultural Fashion Show: Fashion is a powerful expression of cultural identity. Walk the runway and represent your heritage by showcasing traditional or contemporary attire from your culture. Join us in celebrating diversity through fashion.

Food & Cultural Artifacts: Experience the richness of global traditions through food and cultural displays. This year, 20 tables will feature authentic cuisine and artifacts, offering a unique opportunity to explore the world’s cultures without leaving campus.
We also provide financial support and guidance to help participants showcase their cultural heritage.

Master of Ceremonies (MC)/Host: If you have a talent for public speaking and a passion for engaging audiences, consider taking on the role of Master of Ceremonies at the Global Showcase. You can help create a dynamic and memorable event by guiding the audience through the program.

Additionally, we welcome VOLUNTEERS to support media, backstage coordination, and event setup. This is a great opportunity to learn, contribute, and lead, all while embodying the values of caring, creativity, and courage.
