Saskatchewan Canola Development Commission scholarship

Saskatchewan Canola Development Commission (SKCanola) provides financial assistance to graduate students pursuing studies related to the development, production, market development or utilization of canola at the University of Saskatchewan.
Open to students entering or continuing studies in an M.Sc. or Ph.D. program at the University of Saskatchewan whose thesis projects deal with an important aspect of either the development or utilization of canola as determined by the Board of SKCanola.
Scholarships can be held for a maximum of two years and SKCanola does not guarantee that renewal requests will be approved.
To apply for the scholarship, applicants must provide the following:
A cover letter from the applicant
A Curriculum Vitae (CV)
An outline of the proposed research program (max. 1000 words),
Official transcripts from all universities attended (unofficial University of Saskatchewan transcripts will be accepted)
One letter of recommendation from the thesis supervisor or an individual familiar with the student’s academic work.
Students who wish to renew a current SKCanola scholarship for the second year must provide the following:
A GSR 610 – Annual Report by the Recipient of a Graduate Scholarship (GSR610 Form)
A letter from the thesis supervisor evaluating the student’s academic performance to date
