Your voice matters to us! The ‘Stillbirth Happens - let's talk’ podcast was created to support people impacted by stillbirth. We have designed this survey to help us understand if we accomplished our goal. We also hope to learn ways to improve the support we offer through the podcast. Thank you for taking the time to participate in this survey.

About our survey:
  • The survey is being conducted by the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA): BC Women’s Hospital + Health Centre (BC Women’s).
  • The survey takes about 5 minutes to complete.
  • The survey will remain open until we have 100 responses.
  • If you do provide individually identifiable information, this collection is authorized by BC’s privacy law, the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA), section 26(e):
  • In the survey you will be asked about your reasons for listening and your personal views about the podcast.
  • Your answers will be kept confidential.
  • If you provide any written comments in the survey, please do not include any information that might identify you or someone else.
  • You do not have to complete this survey. Your participation is voluntary. If you are receiving care at BC Women’s, your decision whether or not to complete the survey will not affect your care in any way.
  • We will use your feedback to improve our podcast and share our findings with program leaders and researchers to communicate what we have learned. We may present findings at conferences and/or publish findings in journal articles.
  • Only PHSA staff and project team members will access the survey findings – they will conduct the survey and analyze the results.
  • Survey data (captured via SurveyMonkey Canada) will be stored in Canada. Survey results will be stored in on the PHSA’s secure computer network for 2 years.
  • The results will be reported in summary form and we will not identify any one person.
  • You will not be provided with the survey results.
