On December 31, 2025, Dr. Peter Stoicheff will complete his extended term as President of the University of Saskatchewan. The Board of Governors has convened a search committee to recommend candidates to be the 12th president of the University of Saskatchewan.

As part of that process, the search committee is gathering input to better understand the community’s views on the expected leadership traits of an ideal presidential candidate. Feedback received will be used to guide the development of the position profile as well as assist the search committee in determining priorities to discuss with candidates.
