Thank you for your interest in the Building Social Connections in Practice workshop series.

We’ve put together a series of three workshops for planners to gain practical tools to unlock the social potential of multi-unit housing in all types of communities.

These workshops will tackle two fundamental questions:

What design principles and strategies can enhance social wellbeing in multi-unit housing?
How can planners design and implement policy to enable these social features—while maintaining affordability?

These workshops are designed specifically for local planners working on housing, community planning, and development policy in Canada. Workshops will be open to other housing professionals based on seat availability.
