The Town of Crossfield is in the process of updating their Municipal Development Plan (MDP) to reaffirm the Town’s overall vision for long-term growth and development, and to better reflect the community's evolving needs and aspirations. The updated MDP will guide future growth and land use, ensuring that infrastructure, housing, and public services align with both current trends and long-term sustainability goals.
The MDP was shaped by community engagement conducted in September 2024, which was held to learn about community priorities. Feedback was collected through an online survey and through participants attending a community event called Community Fest on September 10th, where conversations with residents were captured and considered in the development of the updated MDP.

Now, we are going back out to the community to communicate the key changes proposed, and seek final feedback on how these updates align with previous feedback and community priorities.

The survey will take 10-12 minutes to complete and will be open from March 14th, 2025 – April 2nd, 2025.
