Application information

Before you begin, ensure you have all the necessary materials to complete the application. Once you exit the survey, your application is submitted as is. If you have not finished completing the information and leave the SurveyMonkey application, you will not be able to return to where you left off and your application will be considered incomplete.

This form is used to apply for the following awards. You may apply for multiple awards using this form, provided you meet the eligibility criteria for all awards for which you apply.

Awards marked with an asterisk have additional eligibility requirements beyond the basic requirements or require additional information. This information is listed below. Ensure that you meet all eligibility requirements before applying.

Basic eligibility requirements for all awards:

Must be an international student
Must demonstrate financial need
Must not receive more than $17,500/year in funding from any sources during the current academic year (does not include stipends or employment)
Must be in good academic standing (minimum GPA of 80%, except where noted below)

Additional eligibility requirements:
Krishnamurthy & Bharathi Devi Award

Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 75% in most recent academic year.
Must have completed at least one year of current graduate program.

Mehr Foundation Iranian Graduate Student Bursary

Must be an international graduate student from Iran.
Priority will be given to applicants who have volunteered with the Iranian Student Council or other Iranian community organizations.

Sunanda & Subbarao Kalalgnanam Graduate Student Award

Must have completed at least one year in their degree program at the time of application (previous recipients of this award are not eligible to apply again).

Items required to complete this application:

List of revenues and expenses for the current academic year (September 1, 2024 - August 31, 2025)
Current up-to-date University of Saskatchewan transcripts (unofficial transcripts will be accepted)

Deadline: Monday, November 4, 2024 at 4:30pm CST.
