CA 389: Skoden Indigenous Film Festival

This course is designed to facilitate the Skoden Indigenous Film Festival. Working collaboratively, students will organize and run the festival with the guidance of the instructors.

You will learn about the following in this course:

Indigenous representation in film and filmmaking
screening and programming film submissions
film projection
fundraising and marketing
logistics of festival event coordination
coordination of intros and Q&A’s with filmmakers and guests, including festival jurors and community co-presenters

Please note, this course will be offered in-person at SFU Goldcorp Centre for the Arts in downtown Vancouver.
