Ongoing Library Acoustics Feedback |
This trial consists of putting up signage in specific areas indicating zones for louder and quieter interactions. As conversations in our spaces can echo throughout the entire Library, the aim is to encourage quieter discussions on the lower level, and keep the upper level free for vibrant interaction.
This is a result of feedback from our Sound Survey last semester where students identified parts of the library that they felt produced the most echoes, particularly during the busiest and most enthusiastic parts of the day. Please tell us your thoughts!
