Introduction
Thank you for your interest in helping update Northern Health's Medical Staff Rules. The Medical Staff Rules outline all medical staff members' "obligations to patient care provided within Northern Health's domain and ... Northern Health's obligation to patient care, [including] support of the medical staff through the provision of sufficient and appropriate resources that are consistent with contemporary medical care" and must be updated regularly with input from medical staff to "reflect the organization of the medical staff as well as to ensure that governance of medical staff practices in in accordance with current standards of care". The rules must be in alignment with the Hospital Act and Regulations, Northern Health's Medical Staff Bylaws, and Northern Health's Board's strategic plan.
This survey includes 16 questions and should take approximately 10 minutes to complete; however, it may take longer for participants who need to re-read the current Medical Staff Rules. The survey will close on May 15, 2025. To help keep your identity private, please try to avoid providing identifying information in your responses (e.g., name, contact information, etc.). Questions about the survey can be emailed to Dr. Becky Temple (Becky.Temple@northernhealth.ca).
