Thank you for taking the time to nominate a deserving individual or organization for a National Philanthropy Day Giving Hearts Award.
Each year, the Association of Fundraising Professionals - Vancouver Island Chapter, celebrates National Philanthropy Day (November 15th) by hosting a series of events and providing awards to deserving community members and organizations.
National Philanthropy Day Giving Hearts Award nominations are open to the entire community to nominate individuals and organizations or to be nominated. Nominations are free and there is no limit to the amount of nominations you can submit. Past Nominees for the Giving Hearts Honour Roll or Nominees for Awards who were not successful winners may be nominated again. Please read the instructions and description of each award prior to filling out your nomination. We ask that you also have checked that your nominee is pleased to have their name(s) put forward.
The Deadline to nominate for the 2021 Giving Hearts Awards is July 15th, 2021.
Winners will be notified by August 31, 2021 and celebrated in the weeks leading up to National Philanthropy Day, November 15th, online and through local media channels. Winners will also receive a token of recognition.
We hope to capture the breadth and depth of the generosity across the Islands and inspire others to continue finding creative ways to be kind and help one another.
