2023 Homelessness Survey CONSENT Question Title * 1. This survey on the unhoused population in Prince George has 16 brief questions and should take about 5-7 minutes to complete. It is the semester project for the University of Northern British Columbia’s Political Science 320 class. Please review the following information prior to completing the survey. Purpose of Project: To survey residents and/or those employed in the Prince George area to understand the perceptions and beliefs held regarding the cities’ unhoused population, as well as government responsibility for the issue. What will happen during the survey: If you agree to take this survey, you will be asked some basic demographic questions regarding your identity, employment, and the area of Prince George you reside in. You will then be questioned on your opinions regarding the homelessness situation in Prince George. Your Consent and Withdrawal: Taking part in this survey is entirely up to you. You have the right to refuse to participate. If you do decide to take part, you may choose to withdraw from the survey at any time without giving a reason and without any negative consequence. At the completion of the survey you will have the opportunity to enter for a chance to win one of two $50 Amazon gift cards. Confidentiality, Anonymity and Data Storage: Your privacy and anonymity is guaranteed for the duration of this project and the data will be stored on a secure Canadian server with limited access granted only to members of this research team.
